Since I moved to Hull, Meenee’s is the first restaurant that has made me genuinely happy and satisfied with my Nigerian food orders. The food is always bursting with flavors and tastes fantastic. The chef is also always on hand to make sure delivery is smooth and prompt.
Meenee’s food is hands down the best food I’ve tasted in the UK! Her shawarma is literally the best thing since sliced bread. I finished a huge roll and was asking for more! Juicy, condiments well cooked, spicy, and well wrapped so it wasn’t messy! Can’t wait for her to be able to deliver all over the UK but she’ll be my naija food plug whenever I’m in hull.
I work long hours and never have time to cook but I do love real good food. I reward myself at the end of the day with a heated meal from Meenees. The bursting flavors, the fresh ingredients, the easy-to-use packaging is all just so perfect. It's like a taste of home, but better! (Sorry mum)
I tried Meenee’s Special fried rice and now I want to order a bowl every week. She’s generous with her ingredients and the food was tasty. I’d definitely recommend to every and anyone!

Moved to hull and got invited for dinner where meenee’s made her signature seafood boil. I was honestly expecting basic, scanty meal with some prawns, maybe some calamari at best. I was mind blown by how packed it was. It tasted so great I had to find space on the floor to devour it, lol
Meenee’s food is the closest thing to a homemade Nigerian food I’ve ever eaten. Guys! Her food is mouth-watering, comes in large quantities. Made me feel like I was back in Nigeria. Another excellent thing about Meenee’s is the fact that her food is well packaged, preserved and the delivery is spot on. I will recommend her anytime….5/5 all the way.
I have tried Meenee’s special fried rice, Jollof rice, efo-riro soup and egusi soup and they all tasted excellent. The efo-riro soup was well cooked, tasty and did not upset my stomach at all, the Jollof rice and special fried rice were also very tasty and so was the egusi soup. The food was also well packaged and arrived fresh.
